Deconstructing Fear & Doubt

Fear and doubt are constructs of the mind.

In our bodies, there is no fear, only a sensation which our minds quickly label as fear. Our body presents us with a stimulus ex. tightness in chest, and the mind responds by attaching an explanation to that stimulus ex. I'm worried about speaking to my boss tomorrow. This then quickly escalates into a full on storm where we sometimes find ourselves paralyzed by fear and doubt.

On August 12th, we will play with sensations and attention, beginning to disassemble this stimulus-response pattern with some gentle practical exercises. You will learn how to move your attention from your mind to your body.

In doing this you will unwind the knee jerk reaction that is fear and discover other responses such as ease, confidence and even anger. When you have options in responding, you are free. Fear and doubt not only drop away, but you experience yourself as a stimulus. You become the cause of all that is around you and even what is not. Thoughts become pure entertainment as does life.
